Hey guys, I'm having trouble OC'ing my 8800GTS, I have a DFI LANPARTY UT X48-T3R LGA 775 Motherboard. I have tried Rivatune and that can turn my fan speed up on the card and it acts like it is increasing my clock speed but according to Everest it is not changing it. ATItool says i can not run correctly b/c it says "The Kernel Mode Driver does not seem to be running". and well i don't have a Nvidia chip set so i cant use Ntune. Any ideas anyone???

Specs:
Motherboard: DFI LANPARTY UT X48-T3R LGA 775
CPU: Q6600 @ 3.3Ghz @ 1.37v
Ram: Crucial Tracer DRR3 1600
Graphics: 8800GTS 640MB DDR3

Lose the 196 drivers and go back to 195.68. I was on the 196 drivers for about 2 mintues when I quickly realized I could not OC at all on them then after going back to the 195's I was able to OC again. The 196's are broken for OverClocking atm it would seem.

Use eVGA Precision.
