You could also try if you have now done so already "exctrlst_setup.exe" to remove the performance counters on a 2000/XP system.

FUGGER:)

I think I've wrung out all I can get out of the 1700+ :) At 216Mhz FSB (and 2052Mhz) she's at the edge of the KX7's capabilities. Will soon be making a major movement up prior to the 9700's release..if all goes well:D

Heh, Randi moved up just in time.

Welcome to the 15K club

It now takes a 15K to get on page one. GJ

FUGGER:)

I've been in the 15,000 club since May24th..LOL...I was one of a handful that made it there initially. I haven't been able to accomplish anything higher as I'm cpu limited even to this point. Someday I'll get some decent MHZ and my first goal is avoid the rest of 15,000 and land squarely in 16,000:)(with the Ti4600)

Mick and FUGGER:)

Welp...your Captain underestimated himself again:) I finally got the Corsair XMS 3200C2 to run all aggressive timings at 205Mhz including 1T command(after shoving 3.38v up its arse:))..which where AMD is concerned...1T command is the key to high scores at 200Mhz+ FSB. So here ya go fellas...you now only have 18 points on me FUGGER my ole pal:D 15,202 (http://service.madonion.com/compare?2k1=4271120)

Randi,

You never cease to impress, my friend.

I also saw that you use Prometeia?
So both chiller AND Prometeia then?

Cheers!

Randi that is absolutely amazing my freind ..... im still running in a tbred on the new epox 8k5a+2 with a new leadtek card stock doing 13+k upwards on air .... soon be time for some water/pelt action but i dont think i will catch you on AMD .... excellent work btw keep up your work and do what a good captain always does lead from the front ... congrats again

Mick and Mac:)

Thank you indeed my friends...if not for the inspiration of my teamates I would not get where I am...many thanks to you guys:)

Mac, yes..I am in fact testing a Prometeia...and using my chiller to cool my videocard only. The Prometeia is what has enabled me to increase my highest stable CPU 3DMark benching speed from 2034Mhz to this 2054Mhz...all at 1.98v with my ole trusty XP1700+ AGOIA"41F", IMHO...the best stepping AGOIA there is. I have been able to increase top O/C of the cpu from 2064Mhz on just chilled coolant, to 2100Mhz with pelt and chilled coolant to 2157Mhz on the Prometeia, obviously not stable enough for 3Dmark but for screenshots.

As a matter of fact..since my last post I just upped the FSB to 206 and blew a 15,218 in 3Dmark..which I'll be posting after I post this:) FUGGER...you only have 2 points on me now my friend:D

Randi:D

PS. I grant you guys...look what can be done with AMD at 2060Mhz....15,200 so far...imagine 2600-2700 Mhz?? I CAN:toast:

Heres the updated score15,218 (http://service.madonion.com/compare?2k1=4271612) Note the other score link is now dead as I unpublished it.

Malecky
08-24-2002, 09:29 AM
Well done Randi!

Still the best of the best as far as AMD is concirned:toast:

MrIcee
08-24-2002, 11:22 AM
Thank you Malecky:)

I've got another update...got the Corsair up to 208Mhz maxed timings including 1T command..1700XP at 2084Mhz..and just hit
15,337 (http://service.madonion.com/compare?2k1=4272520) :toast: Gonna keep plugging at this until I've reached all possible limits:)

Randi:D

PS. No tricks here either my friends...all Rivatuner settings are pretty much well known here on the forum thru the posts I've seen, these scores are the result of pure AMD horsepower and bandwidth driven by the ever important 1T command rate:)

The reason i have been still is that i havenĀ“t had a d for 2 months....have to use my old trusty Adaptec SCSI setup and that card dont like anything over 185 so i am fried for awhile.

I have also had major problem prdering wc from DD, that alone took a month before i had to cancel the order.

I then ordered some German stuff, which now finally is on its way.

I have a couple of 80W pelts, can i have any use of them to either the cpu or the G4?

Mac

MrIcee
08-24-2002, 02:57 PM
The 80 pelt would be nice match for the G4 Mac....it wll give you the ability to scale the gpu Mhz much higher than with just water alone:)

Sorry Mick for stealing the thread slightly, m8.

Do you think i can run that pelt off my Antec 400 W and also the rest of the system or does the pelt steal all the 12V power there is?

TIA

Mac

MrIcee

Your PSU should be just fine in powering the pelt Mac:)
