x3210 Intel Quad Core, Asus P5k overclcoking problems...
I am having problems overclocking my x3210 (65nm Kentsfield G0 quad) on an Asus P5k motherboard (P35 chipset).... I cant seem to get it above 333FSB

on my old Abit IP35 pro (also a p35 chipset) I could hit 475FSB x 8 = 3.8GHz all day long

so i figured that 400FSB x 8 would be a walk in the park...

but I cant get it working no matter what I do...

in fact I cant get 400 x 6 working for that matter... it simply errors out a few seconds after starting LinX stress test...

but is doesnt error out in the normal way, LinX just stops and says that there was no errors... then in the back ground 2 windows pop up that says there was an error...

keep in mind this cpu ran 3.8GHz with no issues in a board with the same chipset...

ideas?

What kind of vcore voltage and memory timing have you tried so far? They may play a big role in your OCing.
