Good ~40" displays?

Looking for something that is good for gaming on so low latency is a priority...

Currect contenders are (have to dig up their specs yet, just digging up models local to me)

Samsung LN40B540 40"
Toshiba 40RV52R 40"
Sanyo LCD42E3 42"
Samsung LN40B500 40"
Samsung LN46B530 46" (seems to have HDMI issues requiring motherboard replacement....)

Forget the Samsungs if you want low latency.
BB doesn't carry all models of Panasonic or Toshiba so there are more options out there so you have to research from the factory websites.

Went with a Toshiba 46" (forget model number off the top of my head). Next to an LG 46, Samsung 46 (650), and a few others it was the best looking in regards to just about everything.

Those Panasonics are 60hz.

In the end I went with the Toshiba Regza 46XV648U

After a bit of work (manually disable stretch mode, set display to game mode, re-adjust colors/etc) this display puts one hell of a smile on my face.

And the game mode really works to kill the input latency! Switching from game mode to movie/sport/etc in real-time REALLY shows just how badly the extra latency hurts!

edit - Should mention I picked it up at Visions Electronics. I gave the sales guys there a kind of a good hassle on the 120hz line but they took it in stride! :)

In anything other than Game mode its unplayable.

i LOVE my new sony 40" bravia s-series. its not the #1 tv ever, but i got it for half price. so im happy :D
