Does anyone know if the new Nvidia Fermi graphics cards will support the new Displayport 1.2 specification? I haven't been able to find out one way or the other.

They stated at CES, Fermi cards were in heavy production. The ones on display at CES didn't have DisplayPort.....take what you want from that.

Pretty sure no displayport on reference fermi card but individual manufacturers might add it down the road.

it has no point except to add more drm, unless u have something with an integrated lcd panel and then it be directly driven by DP and need no interpolation or dithering electronics. the only reason that i can see having DP is to court apple on the gpu side.
