Will 250GTS cards run on a PCI-E x8 slot or does it have to be x16?
If it does run on an x8 slot does that have a detrimental affect to GPUGrid?
If it doesn't run whats the most powerful nvidia card that will run on a PCI-E x8 slot?

Read the forums policies and you wouldnt need to ask that.

The crunching and folding team members often make deals to other active members that are not for non-cruncher/folders. Although he did not state that was the case it is assumed he meant for team members to have first chance.

It will run fine in 8x :)
Not sure about GPUGrid but F@H cards fold just fine in 1x slots even.

No problem. The crunching/folding teams are communities within a community. We try and help and support each other, trying to attain the same goal.

Haha, now that we got a DLP and don't really use the plasma i'm sensing power consumption to go down so i was thinking of getting a video card for the family PC (which used to have an 8800gt) if i replaced my 9800GTX+ with a GTS250 would it make a difference?:ROTF:
