Need a logo - Photoshop users wanted

Hey,

Bit of a strange request but I need a quick logo done up for a coffee business. Basically what I want is a good logo with "Mambo Coffee" as the name, and has a beach sort of theme.

Colours: Any
Theme: Beach/Surf
Logo: Mambo Coffee

Can you provide some more information? Do you need a bug, type, or a full signature? Any style you need it to be (minimalist, trendy, web 2.0, etc.)? Do you have any pictures of styles you do like?

I cant tell you what type I need (bug, type, full signature) but the style I'm aiming for is "trendy". The logo will be aimed at beach goers (age 20-40) so anything that can be easily recognized and is "cool" would be fantastic.

You kind of have to.

To translate the terminology bug = icon (like the swoosh by Nike), type = the words used (the word Nike in this example), and signature is both the type and the bug (Swoosh with Nike next to it).

sounds like an easy job actually, a logo and a logo back drop are 2 different ideas. Generally you want a logo that can be productized which usually means vector shapes maybe a few colors but simple so it can go on letter heads and coffee bags etc
