i have an slk900a on my barton 2800 with a vantec tornado 92mmx38 its kinda whiny, but i get 40 load temp @ 2240mHz :D

The 92mm Vantec Tornado is definitely the way to go. Just get a fan controller so that you can hear yourself think during daily use.
