"G.Skill International Co. Ltd., manufacturer of extreme performance memory and high performance solid-state storage, has today released its ultimate DDR3 memory kit. At 2400 MHz CL9 and 2000 MHz CL6, these ultra high frequency memory modules are available in standard 4GB (2GBx2) memory kits and are specifically tailored for Intel's P55 chipset and LGA-1156 CPUs.

The 2,400MHz CL9 memory modules are the fastest commercially available memory product in the world, allowing overclocking enthusiasts to reach unprecedented levels of performance to achieve the ultimate PC. In addition, G.Skill has also announced a series of ultra low latency DDR3 2,000MHz memory kits, including an extreme CL6, followed by CL7, CL8 and CL9, which perfectly match current Intel Core i5 750 and Core i7 860, 870 CPUs."

That DDR3 2000 CL6-9-6-24 Kit is just  If they release it for X58 I might just consider an upgrade from my 1600Mhz CL8 Dominators.

Are they gonna have a Core i7 3x2GB kits?

Whoa, very nice! Hand picked Elpida BBSE chips?

good luck finding a 750 (or even a 860/870) that can run memory at 2400 stable :D

2400 CL9 is no big deal, most of Elpida Hyper can do that staying under 1.7V

you know what this RAM reminds me of

fat free candy

if you can't bring down your latency to normal levels you are wasting your time or dillusional that you are actually getting any benefit from cas6 if you have to run trcd at anything looser than 7 let alone 9

Basically I am excited about every product, which raises the bar, so kudos to Gskill, but referring to dinos` statement I guess/hope I am not the only one who is bored by LGA1156-optimized Dual-Channel-Kits, while the whole plattform doesn`t deliver the efficiency/raw power like LGA1366. While Lynnfield can`t beat Bloomfield and the upcoming 6-core-CPUs, Clarkdale is nice for CPU-Z/SPi 1M, but will not take advantage of this kind of RAM, too. But as DDR3-2400 (and even DDR3-2000) is not doable/useful for a gamer`s setup, the target audience seems to be a crowd of RAM-MHz-nerds, which doesn`t care about performance. May I call it RAMburst? :p:

Maybe they are focusing on the easier to handle LGA1156 cause uncore clocks are not ram multiplier-bound (it does not have to be at 2xRam clocks(+) iirc!?)? For the standard user it's easier to get high ram clocks on 1156 than on 1366 without subzero temps and high vdimm/vtt, right?

2000 7-7-7 triple channel is already hard for several peeps out there, let alone these 2133 9-9-9, just because of uncore clocks bound to at least 2x the ram speed...

That's my conclusion at least.

and also only one motherboard that support it. I might give it a try to see if i can get those spec with my trident one. Would be a huge laugh if i could make it.

Well anyway, I bet that kit can do 6-6-6 at around 1600Mhz, 6-7-6 at least. It would still be better than what I have now...

This is advertised as an "Ultimate" ram kit and is a lot more expensive than Ripjaws for example which will smash this kit on efficiency
Why buy the more expensive kit from same company when the cheaper one is actually better?

Ultimate bragging rights for people who have no knowledge on how to overclock properly ? Sadly there is alot of those kind of people in our world.
