View Full Version : Discoloration on NB?
So while I was in the process of cleaning off the factory paste, which was everywhere, on my stock EVGA x58 Classified I noticed some discolored portions on the NB. I've been using 91% isopropal to clean the board with Q-tips and I've never noticed that before.
Sorry for the flash - cell takes horrible pictures with it off. Any ideas?

Nope. At first I thought it was due to the alcohol as it follows my cleanup path (stock paste was everywhere). But I'm not sure how the alcohol would cause that.

I would think its just paste that's worked its way into the pcb, shouldn't hurt ..
