Quick question: Which card will be better for physx:

1. XFX GT 240

2. XFX 9800 GT

I think 9800GT is stronger than the GT240 (which is just about the same as 9600GSO or 9600GT).
However, as Physx is not very demanding on graphic power, both 9800GT and GT240 should do the job just fine.

So the best choice will be 9800 GT :)

Just to ask you fellas. I have one GTX 260 that i am not using if i put it for Pshyx how much faster is going to be compare if i sell it and get 9800GT for example? Is physx going to use the extra power?

Depends if you are going to play physx heavy games, a game like cryostasis would benefit much more having a gtx260 vs a 9800gt for physx, and also a GTX260 will bench higher than a 9800gtx in vantage and such. Id say if you have a GTX260, use it for physx vs selling it and getting a 9800gt, especially considering it will run cooler due to better cooling, be less noisy, and future physx heavy games will take advantage of it aswell.

I have read some article where some guys said that there is no need to put higher card than 98gt. Because more powerful card is unnecessary, for example third GTX 280 ... that will be waste of this card.

Ok guys, final decision: XFX 9800GT inside ;)

I use an 8800gt for physx, really, don't need anything more. I rekon an ancient 6800GT could run physx alright, if it had the support. Grab the 240, if its cheaper.

I think only 8 series and higher are for physx. They have physx support - but im not sure of that.
