Hi folks my first post here.

I have some problems i thought maybe some of you could answer.

First off the 5:2:1 ratio on my KX7-333R doesnt seems to work. If i set FSB to 166MHz and 5:2:1 ratio Sisoft sandra still reports a 42MHz PCI and 84MHz AGP speed
Maybe Sandra just sucks i dont know.... is there any other program to check PCI speeds?

Secondly when i reach 210MHz FSB i get all funny colored stripes on my screen from boot, could this be the Radeon 8500 not liking the high AGP speed?

I was gonna get some Xtreme DDR PC3200, but the Crucial PC2100 CL2.5 that i use now can go 210MHz@2.75V
You guys think it is worth it to go for the Xtreme PC3200 or is it just a waste since my Radeon seems to cramp up? (if it is the radeon)

if it wasnt at 5:2:1, it wouldnt boot at all

my advice, delete sandra and never install it again, its crap.

u got a crucial 2100 to 210 (at ANY voltage never mind 2.75)? what u done to it, stuck it in a vat of liquid nitrogen?

The funny looking and colored stripes are caused by the phenomena known as agp tearing. Every board is different as far as its tolerance level before that effect starts.

Try upping the I/O voltage to get your R8500 working perfectly on those FSB's

works on my KR7A with only a /4 divider at 218Fsb and R8500
