The month or so old tubing has turned green... I have flushed the water (distilled water) like every 1-2 weeks since I've been changing stuff a bit... Anyways, you can see the oldish green tubing, vs the day old clear tubing at the bottom...

Yeah, dunno. The water stays clear, but the tubing turns green.

I've had tubing turn green on me but not as bad as yours. My current setup has tubing that survived discoloration a little longer than my other setups and the only difference was I flushed the radiator more thoroughly.

Are you mixing aluminum and copper in your loop? This could be accumulation of copper ions on the tubing, that would look green. Otherwise I don't know what would react with the tubing to turn it green.

Flame-resistant properties in the tube/hose (that's why white PCs turn yellow)
Oxidization of the plastic tube/hose (polyurethane tube)
Possible long exposure of UV

either one of above or combination of one or more x Heat catalyst = plastic discoloration

i see some tiny bubbles in your loop from the pic .. is that a uv lighting as well?

well ... this is the closest explanation i know .... you might have to check on the chemical composition in the tube to know direct causes

Were the rads ever cleaned with vinegar?
