I'm really tempted to buy Silverstone's new Fortress II (FT02) case. I currently have a watercooling loop with a triple radiator (Thermochill PA120.3), cooling an Asus GTX295 (dual-PCB) and a Phenom II 965. I read a French review of the Raven II (which has an identical interior) and they fitted a triple radiator on top of the 180mm fans using the supplied brackets, like this (link to image) (http://www.caseandcooling.fr/images/morfeoshow/silverstone_-3805/big/raven257.JPG). However, that radiator seems to be a bit thinner than my PA120.3, and the GTX295 is 270mm in length. Luckily the power connections on the 295 face outwards and not backwards so they're not an issue, but the question remains:

Will it fit? What do you think? Has anyone tried this?

I have an FT02 at home messing around with it currently and the manual states the following on page 16:

For liquid cooling, the maximum thickness allowed for radiator is 30mm when
10.5” expansion cards are installed and 60mm when 9” cards are installed.

So it could possibly work with a PA series, but only with a lower end or older gfx card. Definitely not with your 295 though.

You can put a GTX 295 I think, my friend has a raven02 with an 5870 which is about the same length and it has a PA120.3 click here for pics (http://foro.noticias3d.com/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=3070425&postcount=151)

Cool! The GTX 295 is 267 mm (10.5") (source (http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_geforce_gtx_295_us.html)) and the HD5870 is 282 mm (11.1") (source (http://www.legitreviews.com/article/1080/2/)) so if that's true, the GTX will fit after all.

It looks like the radiator rests directly on top of the fans, without using the brackets. Are there any more pics of that system?

EDIT: I guess a possible solution would be to remove the two 180mm fans beneath the motherboard and replace them with three 120mm fans, using two of the 180mm mounting holes (like this (http://i49.tinypic.com/dzfc5e.jpg)) and keeping the fans in place by attaching them to the radiator. Do you think that would work? It would give a little more room since I wouldn't have to use the brackets. Or perhaps that's how he's done it? It's not very clear from the pics in that link.

Yeah I hope this (http://foro.noticias3d.com/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=3044003&postcount=105) could help you out mate :) cheers

EDIT: I'm planning grabbing FT02 as well instead of Corsair 800D since its becoming "everyone has" case :/

Three 120mm fans, just as I suspected :) That does look very nice.

Merry christmas by the way!
