This is great news. I hope that the CORE series will get TRIM or is that just not possible?

I need a cheap OS drive for a laptop and a 120gb ssd that's NOT super fast would work. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

It's not possible because I believe those SSDs don't even consider if a block is empty or not - they erase it anyway prior to writing. This is why used vs fresh performance on jmicron SSDs is identical.

Thanks for the info. The summit series has nice stats. Just dreaming of something cheaper to use for my laptop.
