So last night I was doing some vmods on my P4P800 and I wanted to test them out before putting the board back in the case. I needed a PSU to test it out because my other one was still in my case. Since I just moved to Europe from Canada some of my stuff was still in boxes so I had to do some searching before I found it. Once I found my psu I stuck a paperclip in the ATX connector so I could test out the rails on the thing. I pluged it in and hit the switch and the thing went POP! and smoke poured out all over. I was scared ยงยงยงยงless....though I was thinking more along the lines of WTF was that? Well it turns out I had forgoten to flip the input voltage switch on the back of the thing and had throw 240V into the psu that wanted 120 :stick:

Anyways here are some pics of the smoked Enermax 350W psu :toast: Xtreme style overvolting
