Its absolutely beautiful.

I try to pay as little attention as i can to this game so i dont get all hyped up about it, so its that much sweeter when it finally comes out, but i couldnt resist. :-)

I am still a little cautious about this title. I haven't downloaded the new trailer (I am on a 24k dial up). From the video that id showcased at E3 this year and then at the Doom theater last year, this game appears to be more of a tech demo rather than a game.

Eck, this was the video that they showed at E3. It is mostly a collection of cutscenes from the game and then some in-game footage.

Nah, Id will never let that happen. I think it was slated for a June release next year.

I must of had at least 8 people (parents trying to buy a gift for Johnny Boy) looking for Doom 3 or Half-life 2. I felt bad that I had to tell them to wait until some unknown date for the game. I know that activision (the publisher for this game) is throwing out date left and right, but the guys at Id are just saying "when it is done." :)

i love doom, all of them, i remember liek 10 years ago when i was a kid, me and my freidn would use the modem and dial each other and play allll night long. he was a lil better then me at the time so i would bring in my secret weapon, my little brother, my lil bro would kick his ass left and right and dier a coupel times to make it beleaveable. now that same ftreind comes over and we play bf1942 once or so a week for 3 hours or so. the nf7 in my sig is what he uses, in my house, in my computer room, i have 3. one is his dedicated comp. i cant wait till this is out, its gonan be great
