Hi Matt.

Your order 377 was shipped yesterday evening the reason you did not
receive an a-mail confirming the shipment is that we are awaiting a
tracking number for your package.

We will receive the tracking number during this morning, when we have
the tracking number you will receive a e-mail with the tracking number
and instructions on how to follow it.

So don't worry your order is on its way.
Kind Regards

Shipping department

id have one, but im not prepared to wait 5 mins for it to be able to boot :o

probly go with straight water, boot inside 10 seconds, pay half the price and only loose 150mhz cpu speed tops. and itll be quieter

oh and ill be able to cool chipset, gpu and hdd with it as well and not just the cpu.

for those that do 3dmark stuff though, prometeia is probly the only way to go.

Yea, the boot problem is not such an issue for those of us who run our PC's 24/7 :)

Either way, that beast is not yet available in the US :(

toofast - mine was cheaper ;). £454 shipped to my door. Besides, i wont shop from OCS on principle - they dicked me around for 8 weeks rmaing a leadtek ti500 until its price had dropped by £100. I finally demanded a refund and got £250 back instead of £350. All for a card that arrived DOA. Theyll never see any of my money again.

Still not had the email tho ;(.

Bah theyve dropped the prices :(. Still, it wasnt listed on their site when i ordered mine anyway. And they still arent getting my money even if it does save me £30 :p.

They cant do that, if its faulty your entitled to a full refund of whatever price you paid at the time regardless of what it costs now. If they refuse to refund it you can contact your credit card company or take them to the small claims court.

You think 8 weeks is bad, i spent 6 MONTHS trying to get a refund on a faulty KR7 from Tekheads, after 30+ phonecalls and 2 dozen excuses I finally managed to get a refund, which was £10 less than I paid for it, but after 6 months Im not going to spend another 6 trying to get my £10 back. Ill just do my best to cost them a hell of a lot more than that by making it public knowledge how bad they are. It wasnt even the peons I was dealing with for most of the calls, it was the manager, called "Steve".

For anyone that doesnt know, extremecooling.co.uk are the same company as tekheads, so avoid them like the plague as well.

Oh and the price of the prometeia at ocs was dropped at least a couple of weeks ago, the day after the announced selling it :p

The thing is Ewok that if it went to court itd be the small claims court. Complete with a 30 month waiting list. On top of that you have the £125 solicitors fees to pay (which granted youd get back but not for 2 1/2 years) so tbh m8 it wasnt worth the bother over £100. All ive done, like you, is to stop recommending them and slag them off at every oppurtunity. I used to spend routinely around a grand a month through them (not just for myself, thru recommendation and on behalf of other people), so its stung them far more than it stung me.

Anyway, cmon chip-con - its my day off tomorrow and ill love you for ever if you deliver then :smileysex.

OPP- Are you using the P4T533 with the Prometeia? From looking at the hose I'm guessing you are. Since I'm not too concerned about looks, I'm thinking about just putting a couple of inches of spacer (probably just wood) between the Prometeia cooling unit and the case.:toast:

bmg,

I was useing the Asus in that picture, yes. what a pain:D
I went and installed my IT7 today and it's back to a great stable Overclock, the Evap hose is straightened out also:D
Great Idea about the blocks under the case. Even with the IT7 I can't close the case all the way, I have a side fan the just rubs. I think I'll do the blocks, that should work:)
