hi and thanks! I grabbed a pny gts 250 along with an amd 240 for the htpc. Had to keep that projects budget low so it can fly under the wifey's radar. I hope to have the htpc up and running in about 2 weeks.

Welcome back! I know what you mean about wifey's radar. My wife has a super sonic radar that knows just about anything; especially when she sees the bump in the utility bill :ROTF:

Well the 250 is up and crunching. Very happy with the vdpau performance in Linux thus far. Have to wait a while and see if it crunches without error. I think I finally have the setup fine-tuned for Linux, look for a how-to soon!
