Wich 16x slot to use?

Hi, its kind of a dumb question but i was wondering if i can install a GTX295 in either PCI 16x slot in a Bloodrage SLI mobo. I would really like to install it in the bottom 16x slot in order to give the other components some room.

Red slots, either will work, i have mine in the lower red pcie slot.. the red ones are x16 and the black ones are 8x...
