Im having this really wierd problem with my internet connection...my internet works, but only for like five minute periods...so about every five minutes i have to restart my network...(I have hi speed cable)

Need more info Bro.
You have a cable modem. Do you have a router and/or switch/hub? Only one pc on your cable? Or a home "network"? A simple reboot fixes the problem for another 5 minutes? Or do you have to power cycle the network? If more than one pc on network, do they all lose internet connection? Do you have static ip? What OS is the problem pc using?
I may have more questions depending on your answers to these or I may even have an answer for you. :D
