I'm looking for a 5890 2GB for the HTPC I'm building in late December.

But I could postpone it to late January if the 5890 release is inminent.

Is there any official release date for the 5890 and/or 5870 Eyefinity (2GB)?

Yeah I know, but It will be a multi-purpose HTPC:

Gaming current PC games at 1080p 4xAA/16xAF
Emulator for DC/PS2/XBOX/GC/Wii
BDRips/HDRips at 1080p x264/DTS
DVB-S2 PVR recorder

Mostly a high-end PC on a horizontal enclosure (SilverStone Crown CW-02 probably).
I want it to last at least for 5 years.
