I'm finally getting around to my new build which will be my first H2O build in a loooooong time. I want to mount 2 Swifty 3x120 radiators in the bottom compartment of an Aplus Black Pearl.
I've been playing around and the best concept I've had so far is to remove the 120mm intake fan at the bottom front but leave the bracket in place. The inlet/outlet end of the radiator fits snugly in the hole. I can fit two Swifty radiators in there with GentleTyphoon 1450s on the outside pulling air through.
The two radiators will be about 2.25 inches apart and each will have fans pulling in the opposite direction.
Is that 2.5" gap sufficient to allow adequate air flow? The Black pearl has a vented floor and 2x80mm fan slots that I could use to pull cool air in.
I could also arrange the fans to push configuration, drawing directly from outside. But he airflow from this setup would collide in that 2.25 inch gap. That seems more problematic.
Either way will require some sort of very thin shroud I think.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
