Got a few questions about these 2 boards, comparitively.

1. They both have the same overclocking features in the bios correct?
2. They both can be voltage modded the same way?
3. The AT7 has onboard everything basically. The KX7 does not. My quesiton is, I have 3 pci cards. I wouldn't use the nic but would use 2 others. Can you set the kx7/at7's PCI frequency at a set mhz or does it just change automatically like the 8k3a+?
4. Performance-wise, they are the same correct?

I've tried everything possible w/ the 8k3a+ and I can't push it further performance-wise so I'm ready to switch over to one of these 2 boards.

Please only respond if you are positive. Thanks!

Ok you can change the AGP/PCI ratios. 3:2:1, 4:2:1, and 5:2:1 are the options available. I had the 8k3a as well and switched over to the abit looking for better performance and it DEFINATELY performs better. This might only apply to my rig but the Abit in my mind picks up where the epox left off.

Performance wise you have controls that were not available in the Epox bios's. You can change the cpu command decode. There is also the AGP enhance, Dram enhance, and enhance for benchmarking. I think that the Epox board was "limited" so I switched and I am pleased with this abit.

I have both and the controls and knobs are exactly the same. The AT7 doesn't seem to want to go much higher than 205 fsb (http://mywebpages.comcast.net/ddr333/AT7/at7sanmem205.jpg)

The KX7 does 215 (http://mywebpages.comcast.net/ddr333/RacerX/Xtreme215.JPG) no sweat.
