The 5850 is a great choice, can't speak about the vendor though. Never dealt with them.

Well the reason I bought the MSI is because I am hoping that MSI will release unlocked BIOS, so I can OC. Plus it is better to get MSI and then use there own released unlocked BIOS. But I haven't had any issues with MSI.

Well I don't have that much need for power. After reading your guys other comments, it was recommeneded that I just stick with Single 5850 and I just be good to go. Now if I feel the need for more power, I can always do crossfire. But The order is placed and In progress. I just hope that I get it somewhere next week. I have a Brand New case waiting for it.

I have ordered it and I hope to have it soon. Plus I have never OC a Graphic Card before and I am looking foward to push this baby little bit. But I think MSI was the safe way to go. Just wanted to ask if there are any after-market coolers that I can use on the 5850 or should I just wait for more to come out. Your Thoughts?

Provantage takes forever to process orders and half of the time cancels them for high demand products.

Well I have use provantage before when my was building my current Rig. I got my stuff on time and they were pretty fast. But the card is gona come from directly from MSI, so I am hoping that I will have it by next week.

I'm using a 7 year old stock Pentium aluminum job on mine along with a 120mm PWM fan, works much better than the stock cooler. The HS mounting holes are the same spacing on the 5850 as the 1900xt series, so there are any number of coolers around $25 that should work.

I wouldn't be so sure. I have had an order in for almost a month so far and still have no card.

Well all you guys were right, Provantage is crap. I orderd my card around end of Nov and still No ETA. So I just canceled the order and placed a New Order with TigerDirect. My card will be here This Friday. I have ordered the "Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 Video Card - 1GB GDDR5, PCI-Express 2.0, CrossFireX Ready, Dual DVI, Display Port, HDMI." the price was a bit more, but who cares, I want my card and I want it now. it cost me $319.00 out the door with free shipping.

My question is, will this card be overclockable? How high can I push this card and have stable point? Can good Aftermarket Coolers for the card Yet? Thank You for all your help guys.

I will do that, but I have never OC a Graphic Card or Done any OCing myself. I just wanted to get an Idea to what I can push my 5850 too and whats steps I need to follow in order to do OC my Card. I would like to OC the card on Aftermarket cooler because I am not sure how the Factory Default cooler will do with OC.

Your Thoughts?

I'm just about to pull the tigger on a 5850 with a EK water block?

Anyone know a place to get them sub 300 shipped and the nice EK block for under 100 with 1/2 bars?

Thanks
