On my hd 5850, The 'Heaven' demo runs fine under windows 7, but under Vista x64 with dx11 installed, it launches but immediately stops with a 'program unresponsive' status in task manager. But the dx11 demo 'Call of Pripyat' runs fine w/dx11 under Vista. Has anyone successfully run Heaven under dx11 in Vista?

Good question, I wonder if the Heaven demo is coded for DX11 Vista since the demo was released before the DX11 download on Vista.

Mine works good on Vista sp2 DX11. I just wait 5 mins to initilize dx11 shaders

With Vista w/dx11 , I get an intermediate screen on Heaven which I don't get with win7, so I figured something was wrong when nothing happened. So I tried again and waited 2-3 minutes and just as you said, the prog started.
