question about temps. right at first boot i checked my temps.... cpu was at 37C. is that ok??

im using the mcw462-uh block, the install guide shows just screw and spring.... their site pics show the nylon spacers between the head of the screw and the spring..... if im too high ill install the spacers.

Tweaked!

37c's not all that bad.. How far are you o/cing it? Is this a standard water cooling setup w/ room temp air cooling your radiator? If so, that's not too bad at all.

its bong cooling..... the same block/bong runs my 1600+ at 1.8ghz w/ 1.80v at 28C idle/ 31C load.....

what got me was the switech install guide for the p4 shows just the screws and spring..... go to their site and you see the spacers between the head of the screw and the spring (pic below).... i think ill try the spacers and see if it lowers the temps :) if not then ill know im at the best i can get :)

temps look ok to me.
What board are you running?
My system is also bong cooled with the Maze 3.
I don't know if the temp readings on the ABIT boards are correct, running my 2.26 at 2703 Mhz at 1.55V, I get temps around 44°C (TH7 II Raid). But on the Epox 4bda2+, it reads 10°C less, so I don't know which one is correct. The IT7 also reads higher temps, like the TH7 II

changed the system and installed the Maze 3 on my IT7.
Running another 2.26 @ 2763, 1.52V (1.575 in bios) and temps are 41-42°c according to MBM, so that seems OK.
So far it's looking good, running Prime torture test for 1 hour now. Hope it stays stable.
cpu FPO/BATCH : L214B728-1421, pack date 07/14/02.
Maranello : Looks like you have a good one too, what are the BATCH and pack date #?

Arhg lots of posts have been deleted since the h4x0r attack.... I had posted that my 2.26 @ 1.7v @ 2.85ghz I'm getting 55C load and when I first put it in I had like 35C.
