View Full Version : What do you think about 260 GTX S.O.C ?
hiii mates ,,
i bought two weeks ago this card Gigabyte 260 GTX S.O.C after i heard from some friends that its a new card and will be available for a short time here in Egypt .
so what do you think about it ? and if it was compared with 4870 1G or 4890 1G , which wins ?!
Cuz until know i couldnt test it well because of my poor pc :( ( My MB is gigabyte p35 and cpu Core 2 Duo E7200 )
is that fine to have problems during games and the game stops working after 10 mintues of play , and i have to restart my pc to fix this ?? :confused:

If you want to save some $$$ - just buy a normal 260 and OC it yourself. Works well...
But if it's not your style... it's only like $40 more. Will run almost anything at reasonable speeds. I've never maxed mine out, but I'm not as hard core as some of you guys...

260 wins every time according to the benchmark charts..

+1 Unless you go the new 5xxx, i'd stick with nvidia

yeah grab a 260 when you can, they overclock really well. and if your a n00b to overclocking, grab an evga card... they have a tuner control that makes it unbelievably easy to overclock.

i did buy it and its Gigabyte and not Evga .
And yes iam really abig n00b to overclocking, and i will be very grateful if someone teach me how to use this programme ( Gigabyte Gamer HUD Lite ) which came with the CD Driver ?!
Or should i use another programme to Overclocking ?!
