Sapphire HD 5870 Vapor-X Screen flicker? [Archive]

I just got a Vapor-X and running it on 2x 24" Dell's, the problem is on extended desktop the right hand screen flickers on the bottom half when scrolling up and down in my mail program or any other program on that monitor? I have changed cables, ports on the video card, and it still does it. I have XP pro on one HD and W7 RC on another, the latest drivers on both and its the same on either one...any ideas or is it a bad card? Ran Vantage on performance and scored 14478, any help would be great...by the way I have a Corsair HX620 for a PS....

Unfortunately it's a driver bug, something to do with powerplay I believe.

To you think there will be a fix, I had a 8800gts (G92) before and never had a problem?

I'd hope there will be, but the same thing happened on my 4850.

Don't bother. They're well aware of the multi-monitor issues, and are apparently already working on a solution. I have the same problem with my multiple screens - be glad you aren't affected by the gigantic cursor bug as well :p:

Thank you, I was thinking of sending it back, but I just got it so I have plenty of time, Man you would think that would be something simple, using 2 displays is really common, never had a problem with Nvidia cards!:rolleyes:

Couldn't take the flickering any more, tried 3 different drivers the last 9.11 beta and all had the flickering on the second monitor, rma'd back to newegg for a refund, 8800gts (G92) is back in and no more flickering!:down::rolleyes:
