I'm having a problem or at least I think its a problem. My 5870 seems to buzz. Not like when I'm starting up a game like crysis but in a game like team fortress. I notice it mainly when I'm dead but that could be because I'm dead and not paying attention to the screen. Is this a problem or normal?

It's normal, the noise is probably from one of three sources - motherboard voltage reg. circuits, graphics card v.reg. or PSU. My 4870x2 makes all kinds of noise under full load.

yeah when i up the cards volts and it hits really high fps it has a squealing but i dont care it is for benching...dosent happen at low volts with 1000mhz

I think pretty much any card does this today that hits very high fps at least in some menus etc (1000+). Most often u hear it when 3DMark06 changes benchmark or Crysis startup videos. Some squeal under heavy load as well but it's far more common to hear squealing at high FPS (1000+, some require 1500~2000 for it to become appearent).
