Hi,

I have just recieved an IC7 to replace my IS7.

The PCB is a rev1 .

The problem is I get no POST beeps, or Error beeps ( if I remove vid card).

Although the Board does seem to switch on ( IDE lights and Chipset fan spins).

I have cleared Cmos, checked all hardware. tried to boot with bare minimum etc.

Am I overlooking something or do I need a replacement ??

Thanks for advice.

It is possible the board or the CPU is defective if you are not getting any error beeps when you power up the system. Can you try a different CPU?

Thanks for the reply.

I have since put the IS7 back nto the case and CPU is back at 3.5Ghz.

I just can't get any beeps out of the IC7 no matter what I do.
And to be honets thats what is the most confusing part. I have never had a dead board that would not do some beep at some point.
