Announced today. *yawn*, in my opinion. Don't know who would get one of these at this point in the game. Would have been a good idea like 6 months ago.

i honestly think it's a great idea, most casual gamers won't need anything more than this. does anyone know the price? didn't see it listed on evga's website...

Even as a casual gamer, I'd rather pay another $30 and get a 5870 which will perform on par with a gtx295, and have DX11 on top of that.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the card, I'm just that at this time in the game, and at that price point, I don't see who's going to be buying one.

Just my 2c.

Not quite on par and it depends on the features the user actually wants but for that price, I don not think it is a good choice.
I rather buy used.
