Well i have just been wondering when we are going to see the next gen of Arecas raid controllers. From what i have seen and heard the 18xx series is gonna be out in Q1 but5 will actually be a SAS/SATA combination. SAS does add some latency to the SSD's, so i was wondering why no one is bringing out any next gen SATA cards? I have tried looking everywhere for some info but cant find anything! Oh and areca doesnt answer emails pertaining to new products LOL
