Hey folks!

I just joined the team, figured I'd throw my gpus into the fray. 2x285's (and a 8800 gtx when my new PSU arrives) and expecting to add more as the next few months pass by.

I do have 2 questions:

a) Is there an optimized app for GPUGRID?

b) is the scoring tied in with WCG, or that a totally separate entity?

I don't believe there is an optimized app for GPUGrid, but I could be mistaken...

And the Bionic points on WCG are tied in with this, but it won't show up in the WCG section, nor will those points show up in this section. To see the total you have to look at the total on here (http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=index). Tried to find ya but it says you were on another team or project. Give it a day or so to get updated and try again.

With that you should pull some pie! Nice to have you!

Takes awhile for points to show up sometimes. You can track WUs from your stats page at GPUGrid.net.

You can check your combined boinc points/stats here:

Boincstats (http://boincstats.com/)

Just type your username and select users (top left). You are currently showing under 3 different accounts. If you want to combine them into 1 then you need to:

A) use the same email address for all of the projects

and

B) run the projects together on the same pc for a day or two. Boincstats will then pickup on it and consolidate the accounts like this (mine):

Woops, clicked a bit too fast on that last post.

I plan on moving one of the 285s off this rig and crunch with it, I get no real benefit with Sli for what I play for games.

I'll consolidate some of my BOINC accounts now that I see how, thanks for the tips.. I'm sure over the years I signed up for a bunch that I never "worrked" on.

Its funny that our top 3 guys are producing more ppd than the total ppd of all the other teams :ROTF: :rofl: but every little bit helps out.

You will do quite nicely with 2 285's and a 8800gtx :up:

No sorry cannot afford; I am running 9 GTX 275's@ 1620 shaders:up:
IMO I think the 275's are the best bang for the buck.

I am also running 4 920's and 1 X3440 (860) for a total of 40 threads on WCG:up:

I am also waiting to see what happens with the 300 series for pricing, might switch over if its worth it or if they have something in the $200 range to start.

I ordered a 275 today to replace my 8800gtx. Thats what I thought to, it seemed to be the card to get to fill empty slots. I'll probably order a few more here soon.
