Last few days noticed that my GTX295 overheating, temp like 98-102*C... If i lower clock, gpu will make less heat or not?<_<

Yes if you lower the clock it will lower temps.

Is it overclocked or at stock temps?

At stock :( All that in Cosmos case, its ventiled very good, a feel chill in case dunno why card have this temps.. And its while i'm playing Call of Duty 4 <_<

Damn same temps. Tested with ATITool... + when it comes to 3d mode, i hear always some whistle -_- Any ideas?

maybe you could try to manually set your fan speed to 80%

Have you checked your GFX cooler for dust?

I cleaned dust like 2-3 times. Changed cases like 3 times past 3 month xD

I would try setting manual fan to like 80% that is what I do.

Yes i tried 80% ... But when its getting heat it make it 70%-100% auto, so no need to set it 80% i think :S

Maybe try your heatsink. It may need to be re seated.

I have never taken my GTX295 apart ... any guides on how to redo TIM or is it pretty self evident once I get it apart?

Its easy. Just take the cover screws off... and put them back together.... :)
