I started up 3Dmark06 and as soon as the benchmark went to the first loading screen, there was an odd flickering moving up and down the screen in bands of lighter and darker areas that kept going right into the benchmark itself.

When i run FRAPS to capture this, the fotos i get is without this promblem -but the promlem is on my monitor.

I have not this promblem in Vantage or games.

The cards are not overclocked and i have this issue with

Driver Packaging Version 8.67-091008a-090120E-ATI
Catalyst™ Version 09.11
Provider ATI Technologies Inc.
2D Driver Version 8.01.01.973
2D Driver File Path /REGISTRY/MACHINE/SYSTEM/ControlSet001/Control/CLASS/{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}/0001
Direct3D Version 8.14.10.0708
OpenGL Version 6.14.10.9115
Catalyst™ Control Center Version 2009.1008.2132.36836

I cant use any other driver because they dont work in crossfire in my system.
This happens only in crossfire mode - each card seperate works ok

Last night I found what is causing this promblem - its the color tone settings!!
It work ok with default but when i change the gamma dissaster comes out.

Monitor is Samsung T260 26"

Any help?

Yep, I have the same problem with my Crossfire 5850's in 3DMARK06 if I adjust the ATI color settings too, and it's not just the gamma, it can be the brightness or contrast settings also. It doesn't seem to affect in any other benchmark or game, just 3DMARK06. It irritated me so much that I ended up adjusting the colors on my monitor and left the default settings in the ATI color control panel and all is good now. I'm sure this will be fixed with a 3DMARK06 patch or ATI driver update. No worries.

I am having the same issue with COD4.

When I disable crossfire, it works fine. I tried switching cards around and different drivers. Still no luck.

I am not seeing it in 3dmark06 though.

I fixed it.

I loaded the new 9.12 betas and now all apps run perfectly.

Looks like it was driver related.

The 3DMARK06 issue remains, at least so far through Cat 9.11

I've tried all combinations, it makes no difference which bridge is used or even if both are used. It's not a cossfire bridge issue, it's a driver issue related to color, brightness, contrast, and gamma. I'm sure they will fix it eventually, I don't recall my 4870x2 having this issue. Seems to be 5800 series related.
