Hi

I have 2 Saphires 5850 in crossfire on x48-dq6 gigabyte mb and the NEW 9.10 catalyst dont work either the old 9.9 either the 13/10/2009 RadeonHD_5800_5700_Catalyst_Vista_Win7.

The only driver that works is the (ati-opencl-beta-driver-v2.0-beta4-vista-win7).

If i remove the 1 card all drivers work good - if i change cards with the 1 only on motherboard all ok again BUT when i put them both i can use only the driver i just said.

All the drivers tested in new formated pc. (format/driver test - format/driver test etc etc)

Any help?

use the beta 9.11 seems to be the best for the moment.
crossfire still has issues with drivers what I can tell.

Well sorry I don't have any useful advice but I played STALKER SoC for 12 hours yesterday with no issues with 9.10 XP/4870 CF. I skipped 9.9
Release notes say to install CCC with 9.10 as a package. This is the 1st 5800 driver right?
AMD did not have W7-64 driver yesterday.
Better luck to you.

I have two ASUS 5850's in Crossfire and so far 9.10 have had no issues. I am using Windows7 Enterprise 64-bit.

9.10 seems to be holding my old 3870s together.

YOu can't just pull cards out and in as you please! First, you should unistall in the configuration that works ( with one card installed). Remove Catalyst completely then go to device manager and remove, or make sure that the drivers are removed on the cards and that it says 'standard vga driver/adapter'. THEN, shutdown and power off, and place the second card in......Then, fire back up and install Cat. 9.10. THe board has to see that you have two cards in before you initiate crossfire. hope this helps. It shouldn't matter what version of catalyst you are using, I would use the newest 9.11 beta. I'm still using 9.9 but thats because I have 4870x2s, and these newer drivers are desined for 5800 series. Hope that helps.
