Hey, finalising some parts of my next big build, which is going to be my first WC setup and was thinking I would like to view my water temp for no important reason.

I have planned to use a fan controller (http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=408&products_id=8744)which keeps an eye on temps of the air, but would also like a seperate LCD screen to show the temp of the water via a stop fitting temp probe (http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=207_160_298&products_id=11737)in the reservoir (http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=207_160_299&products_id=8509).

I have trudged through many websites trying to find a solution, but most small LCD screens have fixed wired temp probes rather than the two-pin header style that I need.

The closest to what I want that I have found is this (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/5394/tmp-36/Thermal-Star_Illuminated_Thermometer_-_Green_Light.html?tl=c137s294b107#blank), but once again it looks like the probe is hardwired in (I could be wrong, but have found no evidence to say otherwise)

So does anyone know of a product that can monitor the temp with a 2-pin header so I can plug my bitspower probe in?
Or does anyone know how I can make one (I have limited knowledge of electronics/that style of modding)

The Scythe fan controller you linked to uses 2 pin temp sensors. Just plug your Bitspower sensor into it. I have this (http://www.scythe-usa.com/product/acc/044/km0235_detail.html) Scythe fan controller and that's what I did. One sensor measures ambient, the other measures water temp.

You could try this mod really simple to do. http://forums.overclockers.com.au/showthread.php?t=766063

Thx for that BDW. Betting that's what subset did in his project PURE worklog where I was asking about how he modded the LCDs to use the BP temp sensor.

yes i would like to see some dedicated one screen solution for this as well, i know there used to be little lcd screens that you could plug into a molex and they would show the temp of whatever two pin probe you plug in to it, but i cant seem to find them anywhere anymore...
