I started to overclock my xfx radeon 4870, and right now it's at 830, 1100. When I run my games I think it works fine, but it fails on second 3dmark06 test (IDirect3DDevice9...). I'm not sure what to do at this point as I think that any lower...first of all I don't have a guarantee that it wouldn't fail again, and second of all any lower and it will become useless to oc. I do want to overclock it though...to a speed that is worth shortening the gpu's life span.
