many have tried the 8800 and 9800 in the gx620 and they did not work here is a 280 but i doubt it will work

the ati 3870 mobile and 4850 do work i can confirm both in the gx620 i have tested both but you do need the larger heatsink from the 627 or 628 to keep heat down.. the 3870 blows the 9600gt they come with away

8700 is the highest i can find for a "reasonable" price... 250$...

I find 4850 for about 220$ :) more then happy
