Chipset: 15.45
Display: 191.07

I have an M4N82 Deluxe motherboard with an nVidia 980a chipset and a stock GTX280.....NONE of the 15.2x chipset drivers were fully baked and caused various problems...too many to go into here.

As for the display drivers...I was running the 186.18 drivers and they were OK....I tried the 190.xx drivers and they turned my finely honed system into mush. (musta been that wierd green logo )

I've only just installed the new chipset and display drivers, about 30 mins ago....but already, I've gotten (slightly) better 3DMark06 scores, faster boot times....and solved a really annoying FIOS internet problem I've been having with this motherboard.

My gut feeling is that these drivers are VERY stable and will solve a lot of peoples little annoying issues.

I know there are not a lot of nVidia chipset motherboards out there and only TWO companies have evenn made one with a 980a chipset (ASUS and MSI), but for those that own a motherboard witha 750a or higher chipset, or just about ANY nVidia graphics....you are definitely going to want these new drivers ^^

Great

Since nForce is not something you wanna be uninstalling and installing. I will wait for the next time I format my pc but at least is nice to see nforce, the least updated driver is getting upgraded for all systems :D

I'm still using 190.15. I have tried a few later drivers but they keep pushing my GTX 295 to 3D mode while in desktop use.

It is time to move to a new driver and this one look promising, but I'm not sure if this issue is solved yet?.

EDIT:
Just installed the 191.07, and it is not jumping to 3D mode anymore, it is fixed :)

I don't think all are having the same luck with this driver. I know I've read hear a registry fix for people loosing temp data with this drivers and you may want to read the following over at EVGA.

Not if you don't know how to use them.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

I have had absolutely no problems with my Striker Extreme 680i SLI which has been running a Q6600 @ 3.6ghz 24/7 for about 3 years. And my EVGA 780i SLI FTW has been running just great for the year i've had it.

I still believe that the vast majority dead nForce boards were simply "user error". You know.... by cranking voltages way too high, or overclocking way beyond your skill level. ;) But of course when people began blaming the boards for being faulty instead of themselves.... it definitely turned into a bandwagon mentality.

Drivers are solid for me on Win7 so far.
