HI guys , I was playing with my new setup last night and I hooked it to my 50" plasma and I cant seem to get the PC to "fill" the entire screen....I am getting a image that just doesnt go edge to edge, I have a nice border all the way around the screen. I have to set to 1920x1080 and it says that I am running 1920x1080, I have no idea why its doing this, my last GFX card (8800gts) did just fine @ this. Also when I try to run Crysis benchmark , it will not work on 1920x1080 the plasma shuts off and says that its not supported, I know the plasma will not display anything but @ 60hz but it reverts to some odd ball 16**x1050 i believe. Not sure if the two are related but any insight would be appreciated:up:

try 50 or 100hz in CCC, that's what most plasma's use.

In the manual for the TV it states that when I connect a PC to the screen that I have to use the HDMI 2 port....I did this and the screen is actually bigger but its not the entire screen, BUT I can benchmark crysis now @ 1920x1080 so I am under the impression that its the way its supposed to be, but that doesnt explain the reason that my old card filled the whole screen up...

CCC has a section called 'scaling options', you need to move the slider for 'overscan'.
Thats the only way I found to fill the screen @ 1920x1080.

Yes this is the fix. Had to do the same in CCC using a HDTV as well.

Ok so I bouhgt a new monitor Dell 24" with a 1920x1080 and when I try to play crysis warhead the game doesnt fill the whole screen, and when I UNCHECK fullscreen in the game it DOES fill the whole screen , just with the windows bar across the top. This is starting to get very aggravating:down:...
I have the desktop upscaled to fill the whole screen but when playing crysis it doesnt fill the screen....

Edit: This problem is only with crysis so far....
