Da Goose is confused. I need a good cooler for my new 1156 I-860. Will 775 coolers work? Any help would be appreciated.:up:

you are lucky. They have factory drilled LGA775 holes. In another case you must buy LGA1156 compatible CPU cooler.

I ordered a Promilatech Megahalem Rev B. Its will work on 775, 1156, & 1333, but it cost $60+$7.83 shipping. Ordered some IC D7 along with it :D Total was $74.81

I wen this route to get one of the best coolers I could that also supported 1156. There are supposedly a bunch of them out now. The coolermaster 212+ is supposed to be one of the best bang for the buck coolers. $22-30, probably a mid lvl cooler, but has horrible mounting that is hard to figure out from what I hear :shrug:

Not a lot of people are providing the brackets yet, they have dropped the ball and are behind schedule or are hard to find ATM
