No idea really, but I have seen some tests around the net but... that was with 280 as main card and 9600gt vs. a 260.

In that review 260 was faster, but it doesn't answer your question directly... I'm sure someone else can chime in.

I think it would increase your FPS (in batman at least) Go ahead try it, and find out.

Maybe you should look at this :

Hack Released to Enable PhysX on Windows 7 with ATI GPU Present (http://www.techpowerup.com/105329/Hack_Released_to_Enable_PhysX_on_Windows_7_with_AT I_GPU_Present.html)

anything faster than an 8400GS is fast enough.

If you have a really good clocking 8400GS you can get by with one of them too.

8600gt best bang for buck :)

It doesn't look like you need anything more than a 8800GTS OC/9800GTX+/GTS250 to max out physx completely. Batman is a closed corridor action game so they definitely spammed physx. In a larger scale game nobody would be this ballsy with unnecessary sh1t and flying trashcans all over the place.

I personally would just get a 9600GT or 9600GSO. I don't think its worth the tornado + wildfire in your case just to run 1 out 20 games with physx with another 2-3 fps. Unless you plan on only installing your physx card when playing the relevant game :P

avg. framerate > highest framerate?
(295 + 9600GT for instance)

Bad review or what?

Haha, I didn't notice that the first time I looked at it.
