I have a poblem with stuttering in my games.
But the problem seems to come and go.
I was playing counterstrike source and if I run through an area it stutters but if I run back through it again it does not stutter.
I am using a GTX295 with the latest 191 drivers and I have tried them all.
A corei7 920 at 3.4GHz and 6 GB 1600MHz RAM.
What could be causing this?
Thanks.

It's the dual PCB.
Seems I will try the new 295.

ya ditch that thing.its good for 3dmark,vantage etc and thats it.theres nothing natural about slamming 2 cards face to face.guys who still own this toilet vhs tape brick will argue it overclocks better etc(ignore them).who cares if its completly buggy in games, real games(not benchmarking).read this thread...

and just so u know theres voltage mods etc to push the co-op threw the roof if u need more speed for some goofy reason.there so fast as is out of the box and run FLAWLESS.good luck.

Thanks for the help.
Funny that it's the red edition I have too.
Would you get the co-op standard or the FTW edition or even the ATI5870?
What do you think?

get the standard (vanilla) save yourself some money, the co-op overclockes like a mother !! just take the stock and push it to like 700mhz! there really isnt any difference physically between the standard and the FTW...

agree %100 the co-ops scream:eek:

as far as ati goes....the 5870x2 would be worth getting but not the single core 5870...its like getting a gtx 285 over a 295 for $150 more.
