Hey, just got my new AOpen AK77-333 board. The CPU area is real small so I didnt' wanna risk putting my Volcano7 on it. I'm using the stock HSF and it is actually doing a pretty good job. My CPU idle tmp is around 38C-39C, but my system tmp is around 36C. I think my case just has really bad airflow coupled with the fact that I live in Texas where it feels like 95 degrees everyday. On top of that my AC unit really sucks at my apartment so it is kinda hot in my room. But I think 39C and 36C is pretty good temps for stock HSF. What do you guys think? By the way, I didn't OC my CPU.

a heatpipe would be a great small area solution for your system and it is a very efficient heatsink - bang for the buck.
