Hey guys, my ATI Radeon x1800xl just kicked the bucket recently and I need a new replacement to obviously get my computer back up and running again. My budget consists of around $100, but I'm willing to go a little higher just to get this card:

My primary concern is if my current computer (see sig for specs) will bottleneck this video card. I'm sure it would at higher resolutions, but I have a 19" monitor and I only play games at 1280x1024 and 1600x1200. I would like to play games like WoW (in Dalaran especially), BioShock, Fallout 3, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., F.E.A.R., and Oblivion at the highest settings with fluid fps at these resolutions.

For my gaming needs, is there a cheaper card that can play what I stated above, and would be better than my old x1800xl? I was looking at this too incase the 250 GTS is too powerful:

But would the 9600 GSO and 9500 GT models be better than my old x1800xl?

Any feedback is MUCH appreciated!

You should be fine w/ a 250 GTS it does use more power than your old X1800XL but with your quality 500watt + power supply you should be fine. You will be bottlenecked by your CPU and the 250GTS may be overkill when something like an 8800/9800GT would perform similarly / near the same in your case. The 9500GT is a pos & i wouldn't consider one for any kind of gaming, the 9600GSO is about 1/2 the performance of a 250GTS so big difference in performance if you elect to step down to one of those. Hopefully this helps.
