http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ATI/Radeon_HD_5870/30.html

About 15% on average across all common resolutions but as the resolution goes up, the gap widens to as much as 20% at 2560x1600. That's not even including the lower power consumption and DX11 capability as well as much improved anisotropic filtering.

ZIP ZOOM has some 5850s also right now. That 5850 crossfire performance is almost even to 5870CF.

5850 seems, on average, 15% slower than the 5870. Still, its quite a bit faster than the gtX285...

At $250, it cant be beat :yepp:

Not to mention which it comes with the same ram chips, and the core probably has the weenie sectors disabled, meaning it could potentially be even better OC'er than some 5870's.

Win.

OOS now :(

sorry about that :p:
Its just its such a pretty graphics card, it makes the 5870 look sub par compared to its price/performance. O and size.

it will look even better when the price drops come which should put it down to $200!

so that will be ~£130 + VAT, it'll be a must buy for me
