We all know you have them, you know you flaunt them.... now lets see your overclocks!

Im waiting for my EVGA gtx 295 co-op to come in, and i want to see what some people are getting for overclocks... so here's how its done:

Card
Manufacturer
Single or Dual PCB?
Cooling type: Air or Water
Stock or third party cooling?

Stock clocks
Your current over-clock
Your MAX STABLE over-clock
Temps Idle/Average/Max

Vantage score if you want:

Your experience with your card, any tips? anything you can suggest or point out for other users?

System specs:

And your done! Now lets see em!

Really? No one wants to post anything?

I can post up this computer, but it is still in the building stage, so it is far from dialed in. Max load temps so far, around 33C  it is chilly in Montana right now.
Single PCB BFG cards
Swiftech waterblocks.

Vantage score: P22076 (4.05ghz i7 920)

http://hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=902293

According to my testing, the card really benefits if the top and bottom PCB's get airflow, e.g the card cooled down a lot when I set two 120mm fans to blow at each side at an angle towards the DVI-connector end of the card.

Using rivatuner to auto-control the fan, it idles at 30% with the cores at 56/57c, and hits 100% at 82/85c (the card downclocks to 300/600/100 at idle).

The settings for these temps were as follows:
Duty cycle min: 30
Duty cycle max: 100
T min: 59
T range: 13
T operating: 110
T low limit: 0
T high limit: 110

I can't get these numbers. My GTX295's can't overclock past 10%. Not sure why.

Edit: Liquid Cooling with equipment in signature, one is BFG Tech other is Asus. On stock, max temp is 65 degrees, 38 on idle.

Holy cow, is windows 7 really that much faster in vantage? or is there something seriously wrong with my score

I might have to give it a shot later, anyways, nice result :)

Well i am totally happy with Windows 7 and will not run XP or Vista again. Games also run great on it. tonight i will play a bit more and see if i can increase that score.

Hi All
I have managed to get my 295 upto 720, 1552, 1300 stable and can go as far as 740, 1600, 1300 not stable. I can set the core to 800 with link shaders and it has no problems in ATI Tool but with furmark or vantage I get driver stop responding error. I think this is as far as I can go without volt mods.

Card Manufacturer = Gainward GeForce GTX 295
Single PCB
Cooling type: Custom Water Cooling

Stock clocks = 576
Your current over-clock = 720,1300,1553
Your MAX STABLE over-clock = Testing 740,1250,1600
Temps Idle = 35c
Temps Max = 43c

Windows 7 is a cleaned up/skeleton of Vista i thought? like server 2003 is xp pro 64 bit skeleton....

I tried the MSI Afterburner today, bumped vGPU 1&2 from 1.049 to 1.2 and gave it a rock around 3dmark06 and vantage.

Max frequencies were 720/1620/1153, but I experienced some minor graphical glitches, and a single MHZ into any of them caused the "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" error. I was running the i7 920 at 4ghz HT off, so no "real" scores, but I did score 200 points more in 06 than with HT on at 666/1440/1080.

No not at all. It is a major improvement over Vista...this my experience. I am running it from Beta to RC and it just so much more stable and feels much faster. The more drivers get updated the better it gets...so no skeleton version

Test system is i7 965 on Gigabyte extreme mobo, 3x1GB G. Skill 2000/C9, 2xGTX295 Quad SLI (koolance blocks), cpu and vc's water cooled via 2xBoreas all in series.
Boot and execution drive via 6xR0 acard 9010s all on ich10R.

Clocks - cpu @ 4.29 (33x130) ht on, memory @ 1820 (88824)

I might be able get this a little higher with some additional tweaks: add an areca 1231ML-2G and change to ht off maybe.
I guess I need to find my friggin 3DMark Vant. registration number so I can register my results.
Notice my really high cpu score below relative to the max score on the right, I will turn off h/w physx and rerun.

My "old" 24/7 score with:

XFX GTX 295 @684/1246/1476
Good old Dual PCB
Stock voltage & cooling
Temps Idle/Max: 53/80's in the case, on air

3DMarks P23095 (http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dmv=1129009), w3520 @4.2ghz , no physx

You guys who are messing around with MSI afterburner, can you share how much voltage you can push for 24/7 before the heat or stability gets out of hand?

Figured i might revive this thread, im currently at 701/1577/1233, going to be pushing farther now, on water, max at 42c.

Currently Testing 726/1623/1308..

20 mins stable on Furmark.. max temp 38c on water.

Here's a couple of my recent runs. Single card & quad-sli....both with Physx-Off. Note: You need it to be COLD, and have a good amount of gpu over-volting going on.....

Here's a single GTX295:

92f is 32c and thats not that cold, your temps are lower than ambient which is impossible unless u are using a chiller.

Those runs were about 15C-16C idle about a week ago or so (precision temps, no probs).

This was a i7 920 run with physx enabled and gpu's at 11/12C...No chiller, just OS weather FTW! Weather's getting warmer:mad:, so can only hold 835 core now....will work on a chiller in May (when I have some free time!)

Physx processing unit, with this on, it is using the GPU power to calc the CPU score

Been using my GTX295 for awhile now (read: bit over 1 year) at max OC on water with just over stock vcore. I was getting the feeling I wanted to upgrade, but I didn't feel like I'd really worked the card enough and I certainly don't need to upgrade until I see what DX11 brings to various titles. Looking at the results from the guys with GTX 580's I thought that given enough clocks, the GTX295 should be able to keep up.

Volt modded it to 1.19v load, cooling still EK FC295 with cores now 42*C idle, reaching 51*C in ~26*C ambient under max load.

Final stable clocks:

Core= 774 MHz
Shader= 1692 MHz
Mem= 1242 MHz (2484 MHz effective)

No Vantage as 3D mark 11 corrupted it and I cbf fixing it yet. Stupid futuremark not testing before release. You get the idea though. This card is still fast when pushed!
