Both are PCIe.

I want to assume the 3850 would be faster, but the lack of video memory bugs me.

Also, not sure how much each respective card is worth anymore either. I just saw a $189 3850 AGP on ebay, yeah that was helpful

Basically I'm trying to juggle hardware locally, who gets what for what price and which is better than what. That kind of thing, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been involved in something like this :lol2:

Sorry for saying this but are u planning on asking money for these cards...?

Just give them for free and be happy with yourself for making a nice gesture... ;)

I was planning on selling my x800XL 256mb and x1950pro 512mb about 6 months ago and i was planning on pricing them at like $30 and $40 respecitvely. I had good reason for those prices at the time but have no idea what that was based on (right) now. Those two cards you listed are solid cards for a lot of older games. I'd ask $50s on the x1950xt maybe $70s on the 3850, really depends on the target audience and if they are gonna low-ball whatever you ask.

If it was my card I'd give it away, heck already did on the X1950XT :) My bro has that, I gave it to him for Christmas last year. The 3850 is one that someone gave me to sell for him. Reason I was asking about pricing on both was my bro could get the 3850 for the price difference between the two (if it was worth upgrading to, hence the memory size concern), and then someone else may be interested in the X1950XT, just can't afford the 3850. I can't give the 3850 away, not my call.
